Beauty Killed The Beast / Press

“It's so dang cool to look back and recall your first show with us, at Woolys, and then to see ( more like HEAR ) where you are now. Right on dudes. You've let your music do most of the talking, and it really does show.”

Todd Kincaid - Metro Concerts Live

“You could not ask for a better track name to start this bands weekly ASSAULT at TPU.The song "PREPARE" is a brutal attack of vicious drum play and relentless guitar shredding, backed by powerful screams that announces "Beauty Killed The Beast"”

"Local bands may come and go, but Beauty Killed the Beast is here to stay. Beauty Killed the Beast is the brainchild of various musicians from various Sioux City Colleges. An associate of the band, Jordon Fourcloud, recaps the leaps and bounds he has seen the band make within the last five months. “It’s coming together pretty nicely. If I could describe the band in one word it would be ‘evolving,’” he said. ”They are constantly growing and getting more technical, their sound is changing and becoming something that is more attuned to their personalities.”

“In Morningside College’s newly renovated Eppley Auditorium, moshing isn’t allowed. But elsewhere on campus, namely in the Olsen Student Center, students will find themselves at a metalcore concert worthy of a mosh pit. “We kind of look at it like if you want to thrive and you want to do good as a band you have to help everyone else in your scene,””
