“This quartet of Aynor-based rockers has been playing together for about 4 years. Consisting of Jon Clark (vocals), Kelly Martin (guitar), Robert Hall (drums), Josh Strickland (bass), Bitterseed aims to set themselves apart from other heavy bands in the area with more of a hard rock feel than full-on metal. After starting out performing at the (now vacant) stage at Surfside's Brickhouse Lounge, the band has played all over the Grand Strand, mostly in the Myrtle Beach area, with sets that bring a little something for everyone, mellow and heavy alike. The band recently recorded two tracks with local producer Brian McKenzie, the emotionally-charged "Opening Up" and the in-your-face "I'll Watch As You Drown." They also have five songs recorded a few years back with Kyle Thrash that they sell as a disc at their shows”
