“There's always value in a Bill Fadden show, both musically and visually as he's bouncing around the stage frantically strumming his acoustic guitar to some great rockin' sounds. Songs about 'a girl' have always featured heavily, tactfully none of which are ever named. In among the covers was some good original material as well. Bill's own 'Hey Hey Little baby', 'Fool Fool Fool', 'The Payback' and 'That's My Plan' mixed in with Rob Nedin's 'If Music Be The Food Of Love' well throughout the two sets. As the pace ramped up to the usual crescendo, the tope E string on the guitar gave way, and was substituted for maracas for the show stopping 'Lordy Hoody'. This Tommy Blake ball of energy is perfectly suited to Bill and the boys and would top off any great show.”
