Théâtre Outremont 1248, avenue Bernard Ouest, Montreal, Quebec H2V 1V6 THE NOLAS: The Nolas are an alternative rock band from Montreal, Canada. Explosive guitar riffs, catchy melodies and groovy drum beats make The Nolas distinctive and appealing to their fans. Having excited audiences in Canada, their music has been described as “Power Pop Rock” and “Surf Rock” evoking a “Tarantino-esque” style. "Their sound automatically gave me the feeling of a modern twist on a very 70’s sound. It’s an extremely refreshing listen in an industry where it’s getting harder and harder to be original, or unique. The Nolas not only set themselves apart from the “norm”, but do it beautifully..." Heather Young, Canadian Beats. The Nolas released their self-titled debut EP in September 2015 and has been getting great reviews and attention by the Canadian music community and local music scene. Their first single "So Fine" was a great introduction to their sound and style. It has been featured and plays on various radio stations such as CHOM 97.7 "MTL ROCKS", 94.7 Hits FM "Future Hits", CMR "Spotlight Song of the Week", CITR 101.9 Featured Band” and was chosen as a fan favorite on Reverbnation's “Crowd Picks". The Nolas music is currently on rotation play on CBC Radio3 (SiriusXM ch.162). Their second single "Dance The Night Away" debuted in the #Top 30 Dec 2015 and hit Top #25 Jan 2016.
