Benjamin Lau / Press

“Right before school started last year is when I decided I needed to follow my heart and start pursuing my career,” he said. “I was put in contact with Minneapolis producer, Chase Hentges, who has actually become one of my best friends.”

“Ben Lau of Garner has gotten a taste of the life of a professional musician and he isn’t letting go. The 19-year-old student at Saint Paul College in St. Paul, Minn., opened for Kenny Loggins when he performed at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake back in April. Now Lau plans to begin releasing singles from his album, “Simple Things,” on iTunes.”
