“The Deuce Act of the week is Rock band Bedford who are based in Melbourne, Australia. Previously promoted by Deuce in August 2010, Bedford now return with their second single Stronger. After the success of their debut album Right Now which saw them winning at the LA Music Awards for their I Am Alive single in 2006, along with hitting the number one spot and Album Of The Year on Australian Internet Radio, Bedford soon topped this success with the release of their new album Whatever It Takes which was mixed by Tim Palmer who has worked with the likes of Pearl Jam, U2 and Savage Garden. Since the release of the album, Bedford have gone on to win the Best Rock Act award at the 2010 Hollywood Music in Media Awards for the song Kinda Makes Me Love You, and most recently won the Show Me The Music contest in Arizona, USA for the track Stronger.”

"The vocal makes this very personal.. good harmonies, dynamics here.. this cliche remains true, but the more you can add your own lyric variations along the way, the better.. dramatic performances are the highlight here... " I"m not moving". good line.."
"Strong performances all around here, lads.. Sounds like you've been gigging, spending your studio time wisely.. Tight band gets us into this from the opening 1/8 th note guitar figure... "nobody knows you like i do".. while the verse & pre chorus are effective, a more striking title melody might help this one stand out a bit more."

“What a miserable night. Coldest ever February day, pissing down rain. Imagine the happy surprise to see a good crowd gathered. Chronica (nka Bedford) have just finished recording in Sydney and it showed in their performance. The band have a definite commercial edge, a bit heavy with a strong smooth vocal presence. The second song had overtones of the Tea Party, the song blessed with a middle eastern feel (in my mind). Bands like Matchbox20 and Creed come to mind. I can hear the songs on commercial radio already. The band are all great players, a bit older (late 20’s) than usual. The bass player should be playing basketball. I was concerned he would bump his head on the ceiling. Singer David is a strong presence with his long dreadlocks and smiling demeanour. Obviously very confident on stage.”
“Your album "RIGHT NOW"....is our ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2008.... without a doubt the best independent rock album of 2008... keep up the good work...many thanks.....michael kelly http://www.australianinternetradio.com”
"While their first single "Kind of Makes Me Love You" has a fun bopping rock beat, they turn the heat up with "Eats me Alive" and take us on a sensual grind with sliding guitars, oozing vocals and a slow rocking groove. But it is when Bedford takes it down a notch that their exceeding talent shines brightest. The heartfelt lyrics of "Want You To" and "Stronger" are enriched by the same soothing vocals, beautiful harmonies and creamy smooth rhythms that escalated their song "Pray" from their debut album to #1 on A.I.R..." read more at http://www.fortheloveofrock.com/interviews/2010-09-05-Bedford_Album_Review/
"BEDFORD are another terrific Deuce artist. With one great album under their belt, BEDFORD are returning with their second album "Whatever It Takes". This is great music - heavy enough to satisfy your inner metalhead, and melodic enough to get significant airplay on just about any rock station!"
“Debut album indeed interesting for the Bedford Australians, than us give a job from the clean sound and from the agreements very cured, calibrated and studied so as to play well and to conquer the listener already directly to the first one I listen, where it detaches singer the David Trimboli with expressive and vital singing. The optimal production is entrusted to Lindsay Gravina and the great Tommy Denander www.tommy-denander.com (Radioactive, Paul Stanley, Kelly Keagy, AOR, Ambition etc.).
