“Once in a while, a truly gifted individual comes along to blow our minds away. Becca’s vocal range is dynamic; her transitions between low and high notes are smoother than ice. Her vocal performance is full of passion; she doesn’t just sing to the listener: she evokes emotion in them. Her songs generate a sensation of weightlessness. While listening I felt as if I was sailing on a sea of sound waves that carried me away from the shore which is reality to a distant land full of euphoria and bliss. The chord progressions flow like a stream and the melodies warm your soul. Her guitar playing is flawless, and despite her being one woman it sounds like a full band is playing. “Richter Dazzling Under Spotlight! Becca sang her hit song, "Little Things" at the Distinguished Young Women competition. With her busy summer coming to a close, Becca is now thinking about college. Her top choices are Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., and the University of Mobile in Alabama. For now, though, she'll continue doing the juggling act. On one hand, she'll attend school with her two younger brothers at North this fall. Then she'll change roles and put her singing outfits on, get her guitar out and travel the state and country.
