“In the wake of the recent fires, local country music band, Backseat Molly decided to take action to help the local firefighters out. The group will be hosting a Firefighters’ Benefit Concert this Friday, September 9, 2011, from 9 p.m. to midnight at Outlaw Country in Palestine. For this show Backseat Molly will be joined in concert by Alex Smith and 2 Car Garage. Cover charge for this event is a $5 minimum but all donations will be welcomed and are encouraged. According to Steven Calloway, lead singer of Backseat Molly, all proceeds from this event will go to area firefighters. Calloway has stated, “We are still working on it and we may have three to four bands there that night. Five dollars will get you in but if you can afford to give more please do so. This show is to raise money. Between 13 stations that’s only like $460 apiece, but every little bit will help. Let’s come together and do this!””

“PALESTINE — Backseat Molly has joined forces with Outlaw Country in Palestine for a concert Friday to benefit area volunteer fire departments that have been strained financially due to all the recent wildfires.”

“The five-piece band Backseat Molly sum it up in the title cut to their debut album. Texas Not Tennessee is more an intended defiance than an album name. These spirited, youthful rockers have set their bullseye aim on home state popularity. And it’s working. see MORE @ http://www.countrystarsonline.com/CSO/reviewarchives/2010/BackseatMolly_GP.htm”
