Feb. 12 - Wednesday, 2:00 PM - Free Concert The Musicians Club of Sun City West is proud to present The Arizona Swing Kings Orchestra, February 12 at 2 pm, at the Stardust Theater. The eighteen-piece jazz/swing big band is directed by Lenny King, music educator and former leader of the Chicago Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra. This premier orchestra from the West Valley features vocalist Joni King and trumpeter Dan Reed.Listeners can expect to hear classic arrangements from the big band era, including those made famous by Benny Goodman, Les Brown, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Count Basie, Harry James, and others. The band also presents popular hits from the great American Songbook. Doors open at 1:30 pm. This free concert is open to the public.
