Eric Person / Bio

Since coming to New York City from St.Louis Missouri in 1982, Eric has notched an impressive resume performing and recording with many of the legends in jazz such as McCoy Tyner, Dave Holland, Chico Hamilton, David Murray, John Hicks, Donald Byrd and Houston Person. He’s also performed alongside genre bending musicians Vernon Reid, Ronald Shannon Jackson, Dave Douglas and Ben Harper.

Person has eight CD's out as a leader with the latest being "The Grand illusion."
