Vocal is another troubled youth from the streets of Mass. He has been into music since a child and due to his tough upbringing developed a taste for first heavy metal and then hip-hop, and more specifically violent and angry hip-hop. During his childhood V was a very good student and was a great writer also in the chorus from 4th grade to his sophmore year in highschool and that is shown in the well articulated verses and melodic delivery. He started writing hip-hop for fun at the age of 15 and at the age of 20 during a time of prolonged court procedings started writing more seriously and also performing at local shows. soon after in April 2009 he went to jail for 14 months when he was released due to laws changing surounding his case. During his incarceration V worked on his rhyming and delivery and came home a new animal and since his release has continued that development and constantly striving to enhance his delivery n rhymes, rapidly becoming a force to be reckoned with. V had mixed reception with his first release last year, an e.p. entitled Slave Cage:A BDSM Story based on his involvement in the darker side of sex and the alternative lifestyle of the BDSM community. Those that have heard what it is have only described it as audible pornography. This e.p. feature's 5 songs, 2 solo, 3 collabs. The only other artists on the c.d. are Ricky Mortis(Zombie Death Squad) and 50 Dead(Wierd Die Young/USR) which turned out to be an amazing mixture of style n gor. From childhood until present day Vocal has always been told his music and all around life style is repulsive, or otherwise anti everything that the mainstream says is right or good or ok. Vocal considers himself the antithesis to mainstreams hip-hop and music in general, or for arts sake, the anti-christ to the mainstream. This was shown a bit on the mixtape he released later that year, Joe Nobody: Just Call Me V, where instead of claiming to be the greatest as has become customary in hip hop, he embraced the underdog, unknown, and uncared for side of things. He embraces being a nobody and doesnt let others oppinions or feelings guide there his music goes. V will give you raw on any track, touching on a wide range of subjects, also working to branch off a bit from hip hop and delve into his metal roots so keep an eye out for that among other projects to come this year, the follow up to Slave Cage titled Nothing Says Forever Like A Brand, a full length album, craziest conceptual shit to date, also an album with close friend Wayne da Payne, and also possibly a couple other e.p.s in the mix, looking to be a busy year
