Roma Celt Collision / Bio

Formally the Impromptwo Duo, Roma Celt Collision consists of Mike Chambers, guitar, and Tricia Fairman, violin.

Roma Celt Collision is an eclectic ensemble that performs a variety of genres including Irish, Scottish, Classical, Gypsy and Jazz. Our influences include Natalie MacMaster, Caravan Palace, and many more. We are a great group to have for weddings, cocktail parties, and corporate events, and will work with you to tailor our set lists to meet your needs.

Mike Chambers has a Bachelors of Music Education and Bachelors of Music Composition from Miami University. Mike has been involved in numerous rock groups throughout Ohio.

Tricia Fairman has a Bachelors of Music Education from The Ohio State University, where she studied with Kia-Hui Tan, Ken Johnson, and Charles Weatherbee. She plays fiddle in numerous groups and is also a member of the New Albany Symphony Orchestra.

Mike and Tricia can also be heard playing in the Scottish band Mad Maudlin, as well as the Celtic Rock band Whiskey Mile.
