Hailing from Southern California’s Rancho Cucamonga-Corona area, Mad N Mack has been jamming together for over two years. Having released the two albums And So It Begins … and Everyone’s Watching, this pop-rock, pop-punk band has played many notable venues, including The House of Blues Hollywood and Anaheim, The Roxy in Hollywood, The Glass House in Pomona, the L.A. County Fair, and Warped Tour 2013 in Pomona. Fronted by two sister female lead vocalists, this band’s sound ranges from the ska roots of No Doubt to the punk strains of Rufio to the poppy catchiness of Maroon 5 and blink-182. Members of this band currently include vocalist Madison Marie, 16; vocalist Mackenzie Paige, 19; drummer Dylan Roy, 17; Bassist Jaime Martinez, 18; guitarist Garrett Wolfe, 20; and guitarist Richard Hurtado,19. With over 15,000 likes on Facebook and over 1,200,000 collective views on YouTube, this band is on the brink of breaking out of the underground scene into the mainstream. Mad N Mack’s unification of different types of rock make its sound wholly unique due to the diversity within the songs and the different tastes of music within the band. Alternative, pop, hardcore, acoustic, and 80s can all be heard in this band’s albums. With an energy resembling that of Paramore on stage, Mad N Mack’s live shows have also earned them vast amounts of credibility, showing that two lead females can rock just as hard as the boys.
