King Tuesday is a band that seems to create its own genre. With
one foot ﬁrmly planted in rock, and the other dancing
between alternative, jam, blues and hip hop, King Tuesday
delivers a sound that is uniquely its own and an unmatched level
of energy on stage.

By the turn of the millennium Andy “Benny” Benson and Joe
“Kontrol” Ferguson were playing the underground Minneapolis
Hip-Hop scene with DJ Bill “E” Goat as the trio “Shades of
Darkness”. Relying on a large fan base and playful lyrical
stylings, they quickly came into their own. As time progressed
though they began to crave a richer sound and sought out a live
Guitar player Ryan Musch-Pearce had been playing guitar with
raw progressive rock stylings with a heavy blues inﬂuence since
high school in the foothills of Winona, MN. A chance
employment opportunity paired him with the guys from Shades
of Darkness in the Twin Cities and they started talking about
putting together a group.
They added veteran musicians Shawn Hels on drums, Rob Parkos
on the bass and the lovely and talented Chelsea Csargo on
vocals. Chelsea was added at ﬁrst as a back-up singer, but has
evolved into one-third of a very talented vocal team.
King Tuesday was formed in the fall of 2007. Playing a steady
regiment of live shows and festivals throughout the Twin Cities &
Upper mid-west, King Tuesday has always and will continue to
bring a high energy spirit along with well conceived music and
positive, intelligent lyrical content.
