Mercer Avenue is a pop-punk/alternative band from Asbury Park, NJ. We have warmed up for signed artists, including Nicole Atkins and Kenny Vasoli, and headlined local shows and charity benefits. We released our debut EP, "Nothing Left Behind", on March 1, 2011. These songs were recorded by Tim Flanzbaum, an assistant engineer on Paramore’s platinum album, Riot! In addition, we have been featured on the mainpage player of AbsolutePunk.net, as well as the site's Top-10 User-Rated Bands, peaking at #3. Other press features include interviews with Breaking the Mold (Marywood College) and The Setonian (Seton Hall University). We were also featured on the Danimal Records sampler CDs in 2009 and 2010, which were passed out at the annual Bamboozle festival. Currently, we are in the process of mastering a follow up EP, which will be released in May 2011. This EP was engineered and produced by Doug Leibowitz of Someday Never.
