JENISIS Biography Jenisis is an American Christian music ministry and performance group consistent with the 3 vocalist members: Cynthia Ireland, Jasmine Williams, and Dawn. Jenisis delights in the encouragement of others and uses the stage as a platform for the message of receiving freedom in Jesus Christ….. the freedom to have fun, to worship, to be who you are, to dream and the freedom to be believers expecting greater things.The formation of the group grew out of a casual fellowship with each member exercising their revelation of the Jesus Christ experience. The group realized a common desire to connect with people by sharing their testimony in a way that was relatable and relevant to the hurt in many people. Their journey together has resulted in much transformation and a broaden understanding of what “IS” ahead. Jenisis’ submits a musical expression merging traditional gospel roots with cross-genre musical formats to impact the current sound of the international listening community.Through a commitment to their motto “One Spirit One Mind” Jenisis enjoys the freedom of ministry that chooses not to conform the word of God to the sound of man but commands the sound of man to conform to the word of God. JENISIS Mission Statement, Jenisis looks to respond to the burden of Jesus Christ through the establishment of a setting for Holy Spirit filled revival, a program of reconciliation, and a release of the Word of God to all who thirst for the practical answers to life's questions that are firmly grounded in the Truth of God's Word. Jenisis deliberately took on a group name that sounds like “Genesis”, the first book of the Bible that establishes the origin of all things, beginning with creation and moving to God's establishment of all nation’s on the earth. Jenisis serves to encourage others “to understand the nature of our creation, the predicament of man, and the glory of God in His redemptive plan” such that we might be moved toward our destiny in worship.
