This singer, songwriter, actress, and entertainer is one that embodies a humble spirit, huge personality and powerful vocals that touch your soul. Hailing from Motown (Detroit, Michigan) "Gwenation" is no stranger to music and entertainment. Birthed from a union of a musician and singer / songwriter, singing as a little girl in church and school is the foundation that would ultimately lead her to being in a gospel group (PreZence) and being signed to Grammy Award winning artist Vickie Winans Detroit-based Destiny Joy Records. Moving forward, these experiences were the catalysts for the transformation and development of R&B powerhouse Gwenation.

Gwenation has emerged as one of the most respected and talented artist's on the Detroit R&B music circuit, being deemed as raw R&B music. Opening stages for national recording artist's such as Mint Condition, Musiq Soulchild, Marsha Ambrosius, Kelly Price, Angie Stone, Keisha Cole, Raheem Devaughn, Dru Hill, Miguel, Dwele, Robert Glasper, Intro, Q Parker of 112, Case, Teedra Moses, Day 26, K'Jon, Zo!, Sy Smith, along with other music concerts and festivals. Gwenation has also allowed her polished singing and acting skills to place her in major roles on notable stage plays such as "Listen To Your Woman" (Featuring Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Hawthorn James) Stranger At My Door (Featuring Vivica Fox, Earnest Pugh) and the hit stage play "Diamond Girls"

Gwenation is also very active in other areas as well. She is the founder of The Believe Campaign. A campaign that is geared toward self-esteem, empowerment, overcoming obstacles, challenge and change.Gwenation ultimately wants to share her personal journey through her music, hoping to inspire others to be confident, strong and believe that they can do anything they desire.
