When was the last time an artist really made you feel something, made you want to get up and dance, or just sit back and groove? In today’s world of manufactured entertainers and quick hit wonders, DeShaude is that artist. A member of The Recording Academy who is not one to settle for anything just to get radio play, DeShaude is a true talent that is here to stay. As a singer, songwriter (ASCAP, 2013 national Show Me The Music Songwriting Contest R&B genre winner, national OurStage Intel 2013 Superstars R&B Category winner), actor, dancer, and choreographer, DeShaude not only knows what it takes to get your attention, but also how to keep it.
Born in California and raised in Virginia, DeShaude is now back in California preparing to make waves in the industry. An R&B junkie inspired by greats like Stevie Wonder, Toni Braxton, Luther Vandross, Usher, Anita Baker, and Michael Jackson, DeShaude is focused on making music from the soul (like it used to be). And as evident by the audience that was up grooving and dancing at one of his performances at Six Flags America, he is doing just that. With past performances at the Nike 3 on 3 Tournament, Hollywood's legendary Whisky A Go Go, BET's 106 & Park, and an award winning music video, the sky is no limit for this young rising artist.
