"There is a joyful longing in his voice, a potent bittersweetness that stains his lyrics and vocals with a feeling that is much older than he is. There is knowledge and lessons in his songs, stories that he seems to pluck from the past, presented as new"
- Solomon Kerry, Folksterz eZine 2015
