Marita Pauli was born in Euskirchen, Germany on the 31th May 1962.
Marita starts singing as a little child very freely, being inspired by the beauty of nature and training herself while listen to all kind of singers, covering their songs. At the age of 14 she composed her first songs while accompany herself on the guitar.
Her first live performance started with a cover band called "von Stülp" in 1982, when she was 20 years old. By that time she won the second price on a radio star contest for Radio Tele Luxemburg. Later on she worked together with internationally wellknown Jerry Mulligan/passport and Werner Walravens/WDR on several tunes.
In 1992 she started her Jazz-Vocal studies in Music-conservatory in Mastricht, attending a jazz-voice-education by american Jazz-singer Janice Lakers.
Between 1997-2005 she was the lead-singer of "Head over heals", a national cover band, where she really enjoys her performance on stage.
In 2008, a new musical book opens for her. She works internationally as a singer and songwriter.
She met Riccardo Dalli Cardillo, a famous composer, arranger and pianist from Palermo, Sicily and started to work with him on her Debut-Cd "Oasis".
In that project she was also lucky working with Grammy-Winner Eumir Deodato and recording her album with him in Underground Music Club, Palermo / Sicily. Also on her Oasis Project she colaborates with the famous brazilian bassist Mazinho Ventura, Giuseppe Arnetta, a fantastic drummer from Palermo, Hans Peter Salentin, a unique and famous trumpet-player, Knuth Jerxsen, Paul Pauli, Fabrizio Chiruzzi, Werner Walravens, Antonio di Martino, Bodo von Lonski, Karen Michler, Oliver Glosch, just to mention a few.
Her style of singing reaches from jazz style up to soul-and r&b-ballads and funk-fusion music. Her unique and expressive warm voice is able to carry the listener to places where only music can touch, creating a perfect image of fantasy.
