King O Live / Bio

King O Live released #WelcomeToThePalace - EP, January 25, 2014. In this EP King O Live tells us a story of his journey to gaining his new found determination to become a successful songwriter and recording artist. #WelcomeToThePalace - EP takes you through a process of mental reformation, putting thoughts into action, and building a foundation for success. "#WelcomeToThePalace starts at a down point in life with Broken but as you progress through the EP each song shows constant progress in mental change until you've reached the end song Good Day, which closes the EP at a high point in life where things are coming together." -King O Live
Oscar "King O Live" Lambert born January 25, 1991 and raised in Flint, MI. Live grew up without a mother and father, but instead was raised by his grandmother and great grandmother. After a few troubled years as an adolescent Live, began to focus heavily on church and building a relationship with God. Moving to Detroit at 16 is when Live had his first encounter with music. At the end of 2007 Live started to do his first features and write and record his own songs. After graduating high school Oscar decided to pursue a marketing career. While releasing various mixtapes over the years, I'm Taking the Throne (2009), Talk of the Town (2010), Better Unsigned than Unnoticed Vol. 1(2011), King O Live Who? (2011), The Warm Up remixtape (2011). In 2012 after losing his great grandmother, Odessa, who raised him Live put a hold on his marketing degree and vowed that he would become successful in music. He proceeded to release another mixtape, Live Nation (2012), in her memory. King O Live also toured with the Urock Tour that summer, before releasing his next project, Love: Pain and Pleasure (2013).
King has worked with and performed with many artists, mainstream and indie, and continues to diversify himself in the music industry. #WelcomeToThePalace - EP is helping Live to continue doing so with the variety of moods and scenes depicted and set throughout the EP. There's passion, pain, sadness, excitement, fun, determination, and drive. #WelcomeToThePalace sets the tone for much to look forward to from King O Live.
