Country artist Justin Addis, 23, was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. It was there that he sparked his interest in writing and performing. Growing up in a “pickin' shed” atmosphere, Justin attributes many of his influences of Classic Rock, Classic Country, and 90's Country, to his father and watching as he and his friends would play cover songs in the midst of sharing stories and brews. It wasnt until he got older that he began to see a future in music.
In his college years Justin came into his own as an artist and performer; which is also where the ever entertaining “Jaddis” came along.
Originally just a nickname coined by a group of friends, Justin found a happy medium between being on-stage and off-stage in Jaddis. It was also in his college years that he built up a following for his brand of “Carolina Country”, opening for local favorites such as The Piedmont Boys and The Eric Scott Band. Jaddis even shared the stage with former American Idol finalist and Country Radio artist such as Bucky Covington and Matt Giraud.
Now a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Justin has set his sights on Nashville and being a charting songwriter and performer. Justin is set to release his first full length album “Jaddis Country” in the Summer of 2014, an album that contains 10 songs, all written or co-written by Addis. You can find his music on Spotify, Youtube, and Facebook; which is also where you can keep up with his life, music career, and performance dates.
