Stella Homewood is a singer - songwriter who writes beautiful, heartfelt and poetical songs inspired by nature, birds, love and miracles.
"All the songs from my Debut album Ordinary Day and The Wild Places have been written since I moved to Lewes in 2004. I truly love living here. The music and lyrics are inspired by what I see from outside my window, as well as from local nature, town and river walks. I am passionate about birds, skies, shadows and light, trees, hills and the sacredness of the land. I love writing about the original wildness of the human spirit and how we can tap into that ancient place inside of us by just noticing a passing bird, feeling the wind on our faces, looking up into the night sky or touching the earth. I write about things which might normally go un-noticed, and enjoy opening portals of awareness through the songs to reveal the presence of nature and the sacredness of the present moment"
