David Jermaine Fisher was born March 30, 1977 in Denver,CO. His love for music began watching his Mother and Father record music together. His Mother would sing while his Father would play the Hammond B3 Organ. David's instrument was of choice was percussion. As a Drummer for over decade, making beats came easy for David. In high school (Montbello High), David took a 1 year course of Audio Engineering at Career Education Center where he learned how to mix, eq, studio set up and to sequence music. Before David purchased production equipment he would sample and mix music with a dual cassette player (pause button sampling). David would loop 70's music and sample a drum loop from Easy E or Spice 1 and mix the two. With a cassette 60 minutes full of pause button sample's, David began writing lyrics 1993. His inspirations at the time were East Coast Artists. In 1996 he was quoted East Side Denver Tre Duece Crips hence the name Tripple Double coined by the big homie Lil Smoke. Tripple Double claimed Tre Duece Crip for one year then branched off and started 46th Avenue Sicc Blocc Crip which grew to about 30 Deep. 46th avenue is located in Montbello where David is originally from, (46th ave and Chambers RD). His first solo album was released through On Tha Blocc Records (indie lable) in 1997 which was titled Pain B4 Pleasure which sold only 700 copies (cd/cassette) but received worldwide attention a decade later for its classic "Drive-By Mid 90's" sound. His alias rap name is Ecclesi Colossi (gospel rap). Tripple Double changed his stage name to Bad Tripp in 2011 due to multiple hospital visits from 2004 to 2011 for drug usage. Bad Tripp has a West Coast gangsta rap and beat production influence. His influences are Makaveli, E-40, MC Eiht, Brotha Lynch, X-Raided and other mid 90's artist. Beat prodution influences are DJBattleCat, DJ Quik, and Eminem. Bad Tripp's favorite albums to listen to were Spice 1s' "187 Proof", Brotha Lynch Hungs' "Loaded" and Unreleased Makaveli albums.
