Series Six is a raw, in your face, adrenaline-fueled Rock 'N Roll experience that hearkens back to the days when loud guitars, bright lights, and screaming fans filled the arenas of the world. They are a unique mixture of the style and attitude of Hollywood’s Sunset Strip with a modern sound that’s a breath of fresh air in today’s overcrowded copy cat market. Their relentless energy will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish and they’ll leave you breathless and begging for more. Series Six is the band your mother always warned you about...and they’re coming your way!
Houston-based Series Six has performed over 200 shows since the summer of 2009, alongside such acts as Dilana, Parabelle, Vains of Jenna, The Velcro Pygmies, Bozo Porno Circus, Powderburn, and countless Regional/Local bands. They have played the small bar stages of Galveston, El Campo, Waco, and Dallas, to Houston’s own nationally recognized House of Blues and Warehouse Live, to the huge main stages of the “Hawgs of Texas Rally” in Somerville and “Indie Music Fest” at Henderson Pavilion in Las Vegas, NV.
After competing against hundreds of bands from across the country in a year long competition, Series Six was crowned "2011 Battle For America" National Champion. Being heavily involved in Charity Work as the official spokes band for the "Rock For Child Advocates" organization, Series Six has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars through the dozens of Benefit Concerts they have performed in over the years.
Series Six is currently recording their debut EP with two time Grammy Nominated Producer Stephen Bogle, with songs from those sessions slated to appear in the upcoming Independent Films "Lars The Emo Kid" and “The Good Friend” (which will also feature an on-screen performance from the band).
Whether playing a 30 minute original set or two hours of high energy rock-n-roll featuring a mixture of original songs and uniquely re-imagined takes on classic covers, one fact remains. Series Six will entertain and engage the audience in a way that is rarely seen in today's market.
