Earthy alt-folk band The Passerine is led by husband and wife duo, Corey and Hilary Yoder. Adopting the name from the Latin word for songbird, The Passerine has been developing their rootsy sound since 2009 . The couples' raw vocals, mountain rhythm and prairie soul captivate with unswerving storyteller swagger. Lush harmonies, fingerpicked guitar, textural percussion and dynamic harmonica, combine to create a unique organic sound that has been appealing to fans young and old. Since their marriage in 2012 the duo has been hard at work in the studio and on the road, sharing their songs and stories across the States.
