With an aggressive blend of bottom-heavy riffs, brilliant musicality and poppy, accessible melodies, Love vs. Hate is one of the true rising stars in the Dallas music scene. It started as a 3 piece, moved to a 4 piece, but recently the band has become 5 and the decision to have a larger than average group is that everyone brings something to the table and we want to make absolutely sure our talent shines through and our fans get the best show and best of our music every time. Love VS Hate is comprised of very talented and very professional musicians that are serious about their art and have allowed music to take a leading role in their lives.
Vocalist powerhouse Jennifer Kay, who writes and sings those songs stuck in your head, leads this female fronted group and just so happens to be the one behind that hammering lead guitar we have all come to love. Dale Bennett is the man on the drums, and one of the few people on Earth that can pound away skillfully on something so hard and so fast but never deliver a headache, just a great show. Todd Morgan is the artist you hear manipulating his guitar for the rhythm position in such a way that gives Love VS Hate its powerful and addictive full on musical arsenal. James McDaniels is jokingly referred to as "the most important member of the band". Joke or not, there is nothing funny about his play and he makes it obvious why he is a definite contender for that crown with his commanding bass sound that completely controls the powerful low chord realm of our band. Backing vocalist Bonnie Abraham, the sweetest echo in rock, perfectly compliments Jennifer Kay to round out the vocals in Love VS Hate and creates an uncanny musical harmony while adding keyboard tones that accentuate these hard rock tunes.
