I started out as a drummer in a rock band. Early on, I was encouraged by a voice teacher to pursue singing. I went on to Study classical music. Shortly after, I started writing songs and performing with local bands. I sang lead vocals on Final Crossing's EP entitled "War in the Heavens." Also sang on Seraphim's EP entitled "Into the Night."
During the late nineties, I took some time off to raise thoroughbred race horses. About that time I started listening to a lot of country music. I've always liked Hank Williams Jr., Ronny Milsap, and Alabama. I finally decided to begin writing country songs.
About two years ago, I had the opportunity to work with Jimmy Heffernan, (who recorded and toured with Brad Paisley and was with Joe Diffie for nine years). I have written and recorded all the songs which appear on my debut country album "I Insist." I had a lot of help from great players and am looking forward to promoting and touring later this year.
