I was born in Rome, Italy on the 8th of September 1981 and I lived in Rome until July 2008 when I moved to London for studying purposes.
Since September 2008 I have been enrolled in a 3 year BMus in Popular Music at the Thames Valley University, studying at the Tech Music School in London W3.
I started to play piano at the age of six however at the age of fifteen I found the bass guitar closer to my personality. From when I first started the bass, I started playing with many bands in Rome, and I achieved stage and performance confidence early on.
In 2004 I attended a Master Class in Brazilian Music with Irio De Paula’s bass player Giorgio Fontana at "Accademia di Musica Romana", where I later started to teach.
Between 2005/2005 I was the bass teacher at “Arthur Rubinstein Music School” in Rome and for a short period at “Staff Music School” (Rome) too.
Since I have been in London I have done much session in studio and live.
I collaborate with Ignition Studios in London (www.ignitionstudios.co.uk).
I am also an RGT certificate tutor
and I feature on the West London Music Tutors website(www.westlondon-musictutors.co.uk).
I regularly contribute with teaching material to ‘Bass Musician Magazine (www.bassmusicianmagazine.com), the Italian website ‘ Jazzitalia’ (www.jazzitalia.net) and I was interviewed on ‘Bass Guitar Magazine’.
• In November 2009 I held a Masterclass at Tech Music School about advanced techniques such as “double thumbing” and “two hand tapping”. During the performance I was supported by John Wheatcroft (guitar) and Giuseppe Grondona (drums), both teachers of the music school.
• In January 2010 I did a clinic at ‘L’Ottava’ music school in Rome (www.centrottava.it).
• I toured Holland with 'The Magic of Eurovision' musical in April 2010 and I did other masterclasses in Italy in May and June in music schools and music shops.
