The FlexTones have been rocking the Willamette Valley since '96, playing a variety of styles for all kinds of events, and keeping dancers happy at every turn.
This three-piece rock band has the versatility to cover musical territory like Cortez covered Central America, albeit with considerably less bloodshed. Seriously, whatever the demographic, The FlexTones have the right set at the right time.
Jack is simply a virtuoso guitarist, period. This guy plays with a freedom that only comes from truly knowing one’s instrument inside and out. At the risk of going Zen, Jack is one with his guitar. Jack and Jon struck up a musical friendship in Los Angeles circa 1989 and have been playing together ever since.
Jon is the singing drummer you’ll remember. His drumming is solidly in the pocket and his voice can surely carry the lead role. Jon found his rhythm soul-mate, Rick Burch, after moving back to Oregon from Los Angeles. He introduced Rick to Jack, and knew then that it would only be a matter of time, and everyone else would know too.
Rick represents a world of musical experience in one man. His fresh approach to all styles of music brings taste and a commitment to the craft not often seen among other players. Rick truly feels the music, and that groove makes people want to dance. Rick is the glue that keeps the FlexTones tight and tacky.
