In preparation for his ground-breaking debut “You'phoria EP”, Monz Logan has conjured up sultry compositions of man's deepest struggles; love, lust and the pursuit of happiness. Taken a different approach for the sound he’s coined “Stank Music”, Monz has stepped outside of the traditional love ballets of r&b and the brass delivery of rap for which his city is known for. Fused by ambient sounds of trance music, exotic instrumentation and elaborate studio effects of psychedelic funk and the commercial appeal of pop, there’s no doubt Monz Logan and his beloved Stank Music will found a place in the hearts of listeners of all demographics.
Sowing his musical roots at the tender age of 3 while emulating Michael Jackson’s songs and dances. Monz's mother discovered his gift for entertaining and immediately placed him in numerous talent showcases where he stole the hearts of many. “I know he had something special the very first show I placed him in, he danced so hard his shoe came off. He didn’t get nervous and stop, instead just danced himself right back into it. ” laughs Valerie Logan reminiscing on her sons first encounter with the lime light. That same ambition is the driving force that makes Monz Logan the extraordinary entertainer he is today but it doesn’t stop there, he’s also credited as a phenomenal producer working with the likings of r&b sensation Lloyd, Omarion and Avant to name a few. “He has a way of pulling something out of you (musically) that you didn’t realize you were capable of.” Lloyd – Interscope Recording Artist.
With a soon to be classic commercial release scheduled to drop June 2015 and an undeniable sound, there’s nothing that’s stopping this musical genius from climbing to the top of the charts. Whether it’s releasing an number one hit single or producing the next music phenomenon, Monz Logan and his signature “Stank Music “sound is destined for legendary status. “His sound is refreshing, it’s what the music industry is missing” Lupe Fiasco – Atlantic Recording Artist. “He uses his smooth, pop vocals to belt about love, confidence and other woes of the heart.” Shari Reese – Kontrol Magazine.
