The New Royalty celebrated the release of their new album ‘World Of Color’ with packed shows on this summer’s RunAround Tour, which also featured Hot Chelle Rae, Jake Miller, Zendaya, Jacob Whitesides and others.
The new EP is the first album The New Royalty has released in nearly 3 years and marks a new chapter for the band. The band consists of lead singer Bree Iafelice, twin brother and guitarist Nick Iafelice, bassist Kyle Davis, drummer Ricky Joyce, and newest member Eric Drylewicz on guitar.
The upcoming EP marks the first time The New Royalty has collaborated as a songwriting team. The result is an exciting display of personal motivation and an energetic songwriting style.
"World of Color is a reflection of how we have spent the last few years together as a band and a family,” says Bree. “Never once did we give up on our dreams or each other. There have been so many people who have encouraged us and gave us the strength and confidence to get where we are today. We wanted our songs to be honest and supportive for anyone with dreams of their own and to let them know that nothing is ever impossible.”
Surprising everyone, The New Royalty crashed the NJ/NY music scene with their “When Poets Dream” LP, leading to performances at Bamboozle, Skate and Surf, Warped Tour, and shows with Big Time Rush, Emblem3, and We The Kings. Z100 New York recognized them as a top-5 band in their Hometown Heroes feature, and one year later, their debut album was released throughout South America with rotation on MTV, VH1, Much Music, and Boomerang.
The band is also an avid supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NJ and continues to do shows in support of the charity.
Future dates are being lined up and will be announced shortly.
