The term "individual" means much more than being different when it comes to one of North Carolinas' brightest rising stars. Born Tristan Clark in Mooresville NC, Tito attended Western Carolina University where he would make the decision to follow his dream of changing the course of this world through his music. Often being told that his music wasn't good enough, Tristan continued to stay passionate about his work and slowly began making believers out of his doubters. Growing up in a very strict Christian home influenced him much more than he ever realized. Tito's variety of music is something that he is always eager to talk about. His range from Rock&Roll remixes down to Hip-Hop and R&B make his music enjoyabe for most all age groups. His love for his family keeps him on his toes when it comes to making songs appropriate for them to enjoy! "Sometimes I feel like venting and saying whatever comes to mind, but other times when I actually write, I think of how I could word things to make them family approved. Mainly because my younger family members love my music and I don't want them repeating some of the things i say," says Tito. Now entering into the business side of the music industry, he finds himself surrounded by unfamiliar faces everyday, but he was raised well enough to keep his composure and stay professional. Tito admits to one biggest influences on his music being his family. When asked about this he simply replied, "I listen to all music! And yea, I do get inspiration from some of the greats. But ultimately... my drive to work harder at what I do comes from my desire to make my family proud from doing something I love. But it you want one of those typical answers, I love getting ideas from J. Cole, Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, all the top guys really."
Tito is frequently questioned about his choice to put the words "SuperHero" in front of his name. He has no problem revealing to people that its from a childhood fascination with Marvel comic book character SpiderMan! He also added to this response in a previous interview by saying, "Even though SpiderMan isn't real, I looked up to him when I was young. Why? Because he was a SuperHero. I have two nieces and two nephews that mean the world to me. Knowing that they look up to me is the best feeling imaginable. Who says I can't be everybody's hero and try to set a positive example to encourage and change the world?" Big dreams for such a small town boy, but this product of Race City U.S.A is used to the fast lane; and he truly believes that he can catch his dreams before they get too far. When asked what he wanted out of this career choice Tito responded, "Doing shows is a blast! I love being on stage in front of tons of people, but to see my Mom and Dad at one of my future sold out shows would make this journey worth it! After that, you can keep the money. My life goal would be accomplished and I could finally relax... for like a day."
