Leo Lavallee has been delighting audiences for years with his unique brand of pop, jazz, country and acoustic rock music. He performs regularly throughout New England as a solo performer, entertainer, guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist, and freelance trumpet artist.
As a solo performer, Leo is currently working at Connecticut's best restaurants and clubs where he can be found singing and playing his guitar or keyboard. His audiences delight in the fun atmosphere created through his unique witty charm interwoven between some of New England’s best sounding musical entertainment.
Leo has performed on many of the world’s most prestigious stages including Carnegie Hall in New York City and Royal Albert Hall in London, England. In addition, Leo has performed along side or has shared the stage with Grammy winning artists and some of the most recognized celebrities in the business. These include The Temptations, Bobbie Vinton, Spyro Gyra, Ritchie Havens, members of the New York Voices among others.
Leo's music career spans over four decades with over fifteen years as a solo artist. He began his professional career as a trumpet player with local big bands and society bands at age thirteen. Throughout his high school and college years Leo continued to perform as a professional musician both as a singer and trumpet player. He has worked in several wedding and commercial bands during the 70’s through the 90’s as well as touring bands and shows.
Currently, in addition to Leo’s work as a solo artist, Leo regularly performs with several local bands, orchestras, theatrical and musical ensembles throughout Connecticut as a freelance trumpeter and vocalist. Most recently, Leo performed with the Temptations at the Warner Theatre in Torrington, CT and Bobbie Vinton at the Palace in Waterbury, CT.
