“You have to understand. Most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so injured. So hopelessly dependant on the system, that they will fight to protect it.”
The year is 2012. The setting is New York City. Round 12. Title fight. If you believe the theory of the ancient mayans, than this is the last year for man kind as we know it. There is no more time for fairy tales. No more time to kill. The Big Apple is rotting along with the American Dream. Everyone is programmed to believe in the next fraudulent demigod, famous for no reason, saviour of nothingness. The time has come for a real change.
Star Killer have arrived, and not a moment too late. Stepping through the void in 2011. They entered the NYC music scene and quickly became fan favorites. All it takes is seeing the live show once and you immediately understand why. Star Killer have taken their heavy alternative rock meets industrial sound, and crossed it with a nihilistic “fuck the world before the world fucks you” sensibility.
Frontman Jasin Cadic has the charisma and allure only found in Rock Stars, Politicians, and Cult Leaders. Opinionated and verbose he calls it how he sees it. The band skillfully creates a thematic sonic landscape for his tales of life, humanity, and pre apocalyptic turmoil. And no one is safe.
Star Killer has the cross hairs fixed on the fraudulent. The music is a knife to the throat of the wicked. They sing the songs of the injured. With the hope that they will be inspired to unplug from the system. Peeling back the skin exposes what is really lying beneath. There is no more time for lies. Do not stand for false imitations and scream in the face of the non believers. There is no more relying on tomorrow. When tomorrow may never come.
In between distractions, ask yourself a question. As the sky is falling, where will you be standing?
