Freddy and Francine began in early 2008 as a series of late night writing sessions between Los Angeles singer-songwriters Bianca Caruso and Lee Ferris. Within months the duo had written over 30 songs and began performing throughout Southern California with drummer Christopher Allis and Bassist John Classick. In the fall of '08 Producer/Recording Engineer/multi-instrumentalist David Bowick joined the band, a collaboration that resulted in the completion of two records over the next 7 months. Their latest and first full length album, "The Briar Patch", is a multi- stylistic piece(folk-indie rock-pop-country-soul) recorded over 9 days in February of '09 at The Briar Patch Inn in Northern Arizona's Oak Creek Canyon and was released April 23, 2009 at The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA. Freddy and Francine released their self titled EP on iTunes in November of '08 prior to their fall Southwest and New York tour.
