I've played hundreds of live gigs since becoming a professional musician in the Army Band at 19 years old. I compose, arrange and play music professionally & continue playing for the utter enjoyment music allows me - the creative, emotional & mental release and healing, and for any existential experience that music gives me in any particular situation. My current "style" would be, I suppose, jazz/fusion/rock and/or a combination of any or all of these genres on any given song (sometimes within the same song!). I've played with many musicians in a large cross-section of all kinds of gigs - back in 2008 I got the awesome opportunity to play saxophone live onstage with my favorite rock star, Todd Rundgren! I went on a 6-month world tour with the Army Soldier Show at 20 years old, playing my original music for thousands of active duty personnel. I've recorded dozens of original songs with a myriad of musicians all over the US. I now have 8 CD's of all original material, the latest release being in 2015, an 11-song jazz fusion CD entitled "The Streets of San Francisco" which can be previewed/purchased on CD Baby @http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/briangrace, my back catalog on iTunes @ https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/id970605338.and Amazon mp3.com downloads. I am excited to say that this most recent project had me working with some of the best musicians in the world - guys like: Chad Wackerman and Josh Freese on drums, Mike Miller on guitars, Doug Lunn on bass, and Bob Luna on keyboards. I consider this project to be my Magnum Opus! Much more is to come as I am continuously composing in my head and on the computer and recording my music at home, as well as the traditional recording studio with other like-minded musicians. My original music has been featured on the radio as well as TV and this is the area I would like to continue my efforts in, although I still really enjoy playing live in a variety of settings. I play 12 instruments with saxophone being my strongest, bass is second, am a serviceable keyboardist & guitarist, and have been known to play most of these instruments on many of my own recordings. I current play private solo saxophone engagements in So Cal, play sax/sing with a new R&B band called "The Hard Cuts," and am ready to lead my own jazz fusion quintet. I'm still here enjoying my long musical life ride - and taking it wherever it goes. I truly feel the best is yet to come! Brian Grace
