Dnki is a transport on a life-long path of discovery and enlightenment thru the Holy Spirit of Yahweh. This path has run down thru stormy ravines filled with anguish and pain and glided past billowy clouds while soaring high in the heavens. The only way to reach the end is to stay in the vehicle, arms and legs neatly tucked, while focus remains on Him. Hitch a ride with me and we'll see Paradise together!

Donny K, the founding and sole member of Dnki, is a visionary, who prides himself on his ear for details. He is a humble servant of the most high Yahweh, and presents to you this collection of songs and prayers to encourage your spirit and edify your soul. May the Father call you today.
It wasn't always easy for this talented, but overlooked young man. Many obstacles got in his way over the years (most of them stemming from his own desires). But now, he seems to be on track, as the closing of an age is upon us.
The first band he was in, Damage, was a rock trio. Guitarist James Larsen, and Bassist Steve Jolliff were inseparable friends who invited Donny to sing with them in the mid 80's.
Donny recalls those first sessions:
"I remember getting together at Jim's house. We'd sit around and jam; Jim on guitar, Steve on bass or guitar, and me on Doctor Rhythm! We'd get some riff going that sounded cool, and then the guys would send me away to write lyrics, while they worked out the structure. It was funny, really...I'd come outta the restroom ten minutes later with two or three verses and a chorus! The guys would start to play for me, and I'd sing it. We recorded some four or maybe five songs that summer. It was a great experience for me.
I remember when Jim moved to the beach area and picked up an extra bedroom. We christened it 'The Church of the Bitchenest Deal.' By that time, I had a small keyboard which I was learning to play, and Jim had found a much better drum machine. But, shortly after the move, Steve quit the band, and took some wind out of our sails. Yes, it was Yoko all over again!"
After Damage broke up, Donny pursued love. "Many times along the way, I would run into guitarists of all backgrounds and even record with some. It seemed someone was trying to tell me something. "
In the summer of 1991, Donny and his first-born son, Azar Triston, were driving along Interstate 40 just an hour from Phoenix, when they were struck from behind by an eighteen-wheeler! The trucker had not seen their car, and was driving his rig at a much faster rate. As a result of the impact, Donny's car was shot out from under the trucks bumper, and went into a spin, which culminated in a four-roll tumble off the side of the road. When the car came to a stop, it was on it's wheels! Donny was unharmed (except for minor cuts and whiplash), but his son of 22 months was now deceased. The rollover caused the roof of the car to crush his baby's precious head. Donny said of the accident, "It's a good thing he was fast asleep at the time; he went from sleep to sleep."
After climbing out of the wreckage, and placing his son on the ground, he fell down as if dead; face on the ground, breathing the dust, he began to pout like a three year old. Banging his fists into the earth, he suddenly felt the Holy Spirit move through him and say, "My son, your son is with me now. I'm proud of you for dedicating and sanctifying him to me. He is very special to me, as are you." After he regained his composure, Donny went to the side of the highway, and was offered a drink of water by someone who had stopped. After he drank, he realized it was the driver! A DPS Officer quickly separated the two, but that stuck with Donny all these years. "I forgive him," said Donny, just a few years after the incident... "he needs it."
