Brigitte is an accomplished, self taught vocalist who has been rocking the National Capital Region since the mid '90s. A self proclaimed "metal maniac", she thrives on the shredding riffs of '80s & '90s hair bands as well as pounding metal classics. Her main influences vary from: Freddie Mercury, Gary Cherone, Ann Wilson, Geoff Tate, Robert Plant, etc. Since '96', she has fronted and performed with a variety of bands and tribute acts, such as: Fizz Dizz, Stardust, Jailbait, Dirty Trick, Tremor, Black Cherry, Return to Paradise- Tribute to Styx (as back-up vocalist), HELIUM, Sacred Heart- Tribute to Ronnie James Dio (as keyboardist and back-up vocalist) and Brigade- A Tribute to Heart (in the role of Ann Wilson). In 2012 and most of 2013, she worked with original rock alternative band Soul In Stone, releasing their 2nd cd "Find Beauty In Chaos" under american record label & distributor Tait Music Group. Currently, she is active as lead singer for classic metal band Eyedollz.
Brigitte has also had a good 10-year run of working as a karaoke hostess/DJ in pubs, restaurants and private functions dating back since 2001. In 2002, Brigitte appeared in the Canadian Showcase for Models & Talent (held in Toronto) where she met with respected agencies and contractors from all over the world. She worked several months with Orb Model Management from New York, NY on an R&B project. Being the rocker that she is, Brigitte had no desire to continue in R&B nor to relocate to New York for that purpose. Having taken piano lessons and studied basic theory at an early age, Brigitte achieved some levels of Examination in Piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music. She often applies her achieved skills on keyboards and while voice coaching with her students over at The Music Factory in Ottawa, ON.
What is her goal as a musician? … "TO ROCK!!!"
