2oon / Bio

Andre Hope, better known by his stage name 2oon, is an American rapper and songwriter. Born March 13th, 1990 in Pittsburgh, P.A. was born to a musical family. Father a guitar player, mother a pianist and older brothers who at the time were in pursuit of rap careers, may have influenced 2oon's later choice to join "The Game".
Originally an artist of another genre, 2oon slowly leaked into the music scene despite his parents attempts to shield him from rap and it's "violent effect" it had on young & impressionable children. Though being a poet was already to close to the line.
"I started writing, because I was given a lot of fret from my father about stuttering, and not getting my point across fast enough".
In 2004 2oon began high school in Tampa, Fl, shortly after having moved from Pittsburgh in 2001. The high school his parents chose, along with 2oon's creative talents, vigorous urge to be heard, and new found love for the once Tabu music genre hip hop, sparked his whole career.
In 2009 2oon decided to take music to another level, moving from testing the waters, to Studio Time. In August of 09" he began to make his demo CD in-tittled "The Comic Book". A series of samples, including 4 full songs. Despite 5 of the 9 songs only being one verse, and starting, and ending with the hook. 2oon single handedly put out 600+ copies of this demo, 190+ shows, Hottest up and coming artist nominee and all before completely disappearing from music all together.
Suddenly appearing on the scene in 2012, then heavily in 2013. Appearing on TV, and working with internet radio stations, before becoming a part of the vastly climbing FM radio show "The Urban Cafe". Touching hands and showing face with many of the big names on scene in Tampa, and connecting with what he lost, 2oon has returned to "The Game" with intentions to win, and is in no way afraid to show it.
Working on his highly anticipated debut Mixtape "Thanks For Listing Vol1" or "T.F.L.01" for short has showed to be extremely promising.
