By the time Bille moved to the Atlanta GA. he was already a veteran of the Jacksonville FL music scene, having started at age 16 playing the same local bar scene that nurtured the likes of Lynryd Skynyrd, .38 Special and Molly Hatchet just to name a few. Bille fronted the Atlanta original band Shoot the Moon thru the late eighties until joining the legendary original band Lonesome Jones and played on the bands only CD release "Horse Shoes and Hand Grenades". The album is now considered ahead of its time and a local classic. After taking a little time off he set out playing solo in some of the local original open mic venues around Atlanta developing a following that appreciated his powerful vocals and songwriting skills as well as his unique style of guitar playing which has been compared to Annie Defranco’s aggressive style. Bille is joined by drummer Nel Fiddler and bassist Jim Roberts playing to packed shows around the Atlanta area. Club-goers and music fans love his outgoing personality and the band’s passionate song delivery. You honestly never know what might happen during a Bille Seymour show but you can be guaranteed to be entertained! We believe you'll be hearing a lot more from Bille in the near future. We'll keep you posted!

Chasing Providence CD Review
Growing up in Jacksonville Fl before moving to Atlanta Bille Seymour follows in the most recent tradition of Southern/Americana singer songwriters where you can expect a true story or lesson to be learned with every twist and turn in his lyrical style. Combined with strong vocal conviction and his unique guitar style, this is one artist that refuses to be ignored or pigeon holed. Chasing Providence is a must hear EP showcasing what’s destined to be a bright future for this hard working musician. Bille’s LIVE shows have been described as a cross between an old fashion country hoedown and group therapy and needs to be seen.
