GLenn began playing music at age 12 banging out chords on the family piano , got his first Stratocaster at age 13 after hearing Jimi Hendrix.He practiced several hours a day for the next few years and started playing in local bands . After forming an acoustic duo he began writing songs . The duo morphed into a band and relocated to California in 1986.
That band called Next Exit, formed with fellow songwriter , Bill Petterson played the SanFrancisco area for 5 yrs opening for Robin Trower, 38 Special ,Molly Hatchet and many others as well as head lining their own shows .
Glenn continued writing songs and in 1994 embarked on a solo career as a singer /songwriter .Glenn went on to be a Kerrville New Folk finalist as well as winner of Sisters Folk Fest song competition.GLenn also took home song of the year from Northern California Songwriters Association as well as numerous other songwriting awards . Twelve of Glenn's songs are in use in various TV shows and radio spots and continue to receive play all over the world. In 1996 GLenn's debut CD "MR FIX IT MAN " was released and enjoyed airplay all over the United States . MR FIX IT MAN was on the top ten list from KZSC radio , Santa Cruz CA. Glenn Continues to write and perform in the Greater San Francisco Bay area.
