OK, so I grew up in a small town of Inwood NY. On the Long Island/Queens border. Fun town when we were kids. I played in a band called the Fine Yung Lads with some awesome musicians Mark Magliaro, Brendan O'Connor, and John Margulis.
We had much fun playing in local town bars, and many house parties Just packing the house many weekends playing covers and originals. We we would rehearse in a local studio in Cedarhurst where we really had some great times. Played the Right Track Inn in Freeport (originals only)Oct 15th 1986 (only remember because it was the last game of the Met/Houston Playoff game and if the Met's lost we weren't going on to play(yea right)
Moved on after the Fine Yung Ladz parted to a band we put together BTKS/The Bitch Hogs Brendan OConnor, Tom Fodera, Kenny Rivera, and myself. Still head to the rehearsal studio with Tom and Brendan from time to time, much fun.
I really haven't played out too much in years, we did a FYL reunion show this past Xmas 2011 at The Den, we had a blast. The good ol days. I am still writing and playing whenever possible and really trying to perfect the craft and having fun in the process. My son Bruce Pandolfo aka ALLONE has his 4th cd out, just very excited. A great writer, performer and surrounded by an outstanding band.
Check out the song "On the Fly" just playing around on the recorder at home. "Loving Life" was really the last tune i wrote, this was recorded by Lou Katz Entertainment studios 2009, Toykyo was recorded live at Rockaway Studios 1995, all other recordings were done at home, can't wait for a real studio recording again... more to come!
Enjoy, and please send me comments, good and bad are always welcome. Remember we should take nothing for granted and should always be "Loving Life"
