Elisha "Atlas" Parris / Bio

Elisha Atlas Parris is an urban jazz pianist, songwriter, and producer based in Jacksonville, FL. Born into a musical family, he was strongly influenced by both his father(trombonist) and mother(piano teacher). Elisha has developed a distinctive style of keyboard performance giving him the opportunity to play jazz festivals and clubs across the country such as the Jacksonville Jazz Festival("second-largest jazz festival in the nation" according to Superpages), Sun Fest, and The Historic B Sharp Jazz Cafe. He's served as Music Director for a number of plays, recording projects, and artist including the Stellar Award winning inspirational jazz duo, Allen & Allen.

While in the music program at Edward Waters College, he was student musician for the renowned EWC Chorale. Elisha is also a recipient of the NCP Musician of the Year Award. “Atlas” has written for artists like Grammy and Stellar Award-nominated gospel singer/producer, Troy Sneed (Emtro) and Gospel Jazz Pianist, Bruce Allen (Meridian Group).
