Terri G is a music artist who successfully launched her career in the music industry writing songs similar to today's ballads. Surrounded by a musical family she taught herself to play piano. Working extremely hard she developed her skills as a singer using her talent to lead school choirs and perform at annual family events.
It was in church as a teenager she was exposed to the hymns and Christian stories that would later influence her work. Terri married Dana Gary in 1981. Years later the couple had three children.
In 1993, following an injury, Terri gave her life to God. It was then she began, with sensitivity and compassion, to write songs and poetry. With much effort she and manager/ husband Dana began working together on her first album. In 2003 Terri completed her first project, "From the Heart." The self-promoting EP was a growing success.
Months later, her angelic sound led to a recording contract with Tate publishing Enterprise. Her album, "I Will Sing," reflects songs of love and devotion to God. "Righteous Heart," features pianist Jack Colombo from the early fifties band "Drifter’s."
Today Terri leads worship in her local church, volunteers at correctional institutions, performs acts for charity, leads women’s retreats, performs music in nursing homes, performs in coffee houses and continues to receive many awards for "Accomplished Poet and Songwriter."
Although Terri is currently active, she continues to dive into the countless opportunities that will eventually take her to greater places.
Terri ended 2012 by branching out professionally; recording her latest song, "I Could Have Walked Away," with country singer Loretta Lynne's producer Doc Holiday and the A Team at Quad Studios in Nashville, TN. She is currently joined with singer/songwriter David Niles writing lyrics and composing melodies for their third album.
