4 Track Jones is a multitude of different genres wrapped around punk rock. Chocked full of guitar harmony's and nasaly vocals that have been compared to Ozzy Osbourne and Duran Duran’s Simon Lebon. Inspired by Peter Cetera in his solo years, 4 Track Jones will rattle your speaker's with songs being anything about meaningful to meaningless love, dinosaurs and past experiences with friends, family and there quirky mannerism's. Listening to the tracks they are said to leave you in an upbeat mood or just saying "Good stuff man". For over a decade 4TJ has been cutting tracks effects free without looping beats or instruments still recording the old school way. With all that said the one man band is really just an over blown alter ego of house dad Paul Goodno. Fueled by great friends and good times Dustin Anderson (Dust AC, Antilogical, grropolis) and Jay Kincer (FTM, Mitchell, Children In Heat) Long time pals are the true instigators of the whole 4TJ fiasco, Founding Severed Records the two were always demanding new tracks on 4TJ’s lifelong contract. In the late 90’s Anderson and Goodno were convinced that recording the songs they were playing was necessary so Anderson set out one day to buy his first Fostex 4 track tape deck recorder and formed a two man band called Super Room Sedative. Exploring the world of home recording and the freedom of expressing instant inspiration after a day of hard blue collar work the two were hooked and recorded an album. The two soon broke off into solo projects Anderson’s Dust AC and Goodno’s 4 Track Jones which then spawned many other projects between the three who are currently active in there three piece punk band Mitchell. All the projects and bands mentioned in this bio can be found on Reverbnation at Severed Sampler or Facebook at Severed Records.
