Randall King Band / Bio

Randall King is a Lubbock Red Dirt Country Artist born and raised on the West Texas plains. King brings his own unique blend of Country and Southern Rock to Texas. King’s current record, “Old Dirt Road,” is making a splash on the Red Dirt scene. Their single “Don’t Ask Her Tonight” made #62 of the top 100 songs of 2013 by New Slang, and made it on the top 5 at 5:00 of the Red Dirt Rebel 105.3 repeatedly throughout the year. The album was also voted #4 of the top 5 Lubbock albums of 2013 by New Slang. King is in the process of recording a new album, that has more of a Southern Rock feel than the band’s previous record. The second album is sure to be an even tighter version of his first, walking the line between country and rock with soul piercing lyrics that will leave you wanting more. The record is being recorded and produced at Crossroads Studio in Lubbock, and is scheduled for release in 2015. And do not miss their live show, the energy and emotion that is brought to the stage right in front of you is sure to keep your gaze and a drink in your hand!
