Originally formed in Philadelphia in 1999 ZX9 (ZenithXeno9ines) released their first album "As Flat As The World" in 2002. Distribution to Tower Records and limited national radio play helped the band become one of Philly's best known Goth projects. Blending influences from bands such as NIN, David Bowie, Faith No More, Gary Numan, Marilyn Manson, Tool and many others ZX9 has a signature style that's always evolving. The success of "As Flat As The World" allowed for a 4 year tour from 2002 to 2006 during which ZX9 played venues including the Whiskey-A-Go-Go, the Knitting Factory, Doc Watson's,Universal Grill, the Cat Club, Club Fred, the Starline, the Trocadero, and many others across the U.S.
Over the years ZX9 has undergone many transformations, we're currently a two member band based in Chicago. As always we're working on new music & appreciate your continued support.
