Sandy is an independent Artist from S.C. now based in Florida known for her diversity in vocal and writing styles. While she is most often booked as a Blues Artist her songs also include Rock, Jazz and some Americana flavors.
A long standing member of BMI as a writer and publisher, she joined Harry Fox Agency in 2013 as Gator Blues Publishing with Duke Robillard being the first to license one of her songs. The song "Cook In Your Kitchen" was selected for Sunny Crownover for a CD he produced for her. She hopes this is the start of new side of the music business for her.
"Christmas Songs, Tales And Fables" released October, 2012 features the legendary Bob Margolin on "Baby Please Come Home For Christmas." It also includes a variety of genres for the holiday season.
The "Tampa Bay Blues Queen" as some press has called her played the International Blues Challenge in January 2013. representing the Suncoast Blues Society from Tampa Bay Florida. She has played festivals and venues in the US and Norway including Rib Fest,St. Petersburg, Sarasota Blues Fest, WMNF Tropical Heat Wave, Tampa, Buckingham Blues Fest, Ft. Myers, New Hampshire Blues Fest, Women In Blues Fest, NC, Hell Blues Fest, Norway, Muddy Waters Blues Club, Oslo, and regional favorite venues, House Of Blues, Orlando, & Skipper's Smokehouse, Tampa.
She works as a solo, but prefers working with her band, The True Loves which includes a very talented and seasoned group of professional musicians: Cannon Quinn, Ben Jammin, Dean Germain and Dan DeGregory and Frank Bowman.
She is currently writing for her next project to be released later this year.
