FUKM, a Oakland based hardcore punk and Rock n Roll band, formed in January 2007. Founded by Joe Fink (The American Terrorists) on vocals and Greg Elliott (Fang) on lead guitar, FUKM’s main objective was to establish an unprecedented and distinct sound, combining punk with rock n’ roll.
John Lazarus (The Stomacher) their loyal permanent drummer, unfortunately left us in Feb. 2013 He was an excellent Drummer, friend, and brother . Since his passing Chris Mabry has stepped up and became a part of the FUKM family as our new drummer. FUKM recruited El Benway (Bad Angle) and Jerry Mabry ( Cycloptopus) on bass and rhythm guitar respectively, thus completing the FUKM family. Every member has brought their own musical influences to the table, resulting in an exceptional sound. Together they are an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.
Since early on, FUKM has played many shows, large and small. They have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with bands like MDC, Verbal Abuse, Dr. Know, The Mentors, Agent Orange, D.I. , Attitude Adjustment, CH3, Oppressed Logic, Retching Red, Arnocorps, Hammerlock, The Murder Junkies, ADT, Proudflesh, The Chop Tops, Fang, The Jim Jones Review, Green Jelly, and The Lower Class Brats. In the summer of 2010, after many hours in the studio, a lot of hard work, and much fun, FUKM released their first full-length album. The album, titled No Escape, was recorded by the talented Jeff Davis at Lennon Studios in San Francisco.
No Escape is an explosive album with a fully charged sound that you cannot live without. With its rugged vocals, aggressive lyrics, and raw sound, this album will be sure to impress. When all is said and done, FUKM’s dedication to their fans will remain priority number one!
